Upcoming Speaking Engagement - Some Exciting News!

I thought I would share some exciting - and humbling - news!  I am honored to have been chosen by the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) to host a break-out session at its upcoming Annual Conference http://tinyurl.com/9devgnf  . The Conference, which will be held at the beautiful Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Florida, begins Thursday, October 11, 2012 and runs through Saturday, October 13, 2012. The topic of my presentation, which is scheduled for Friday, October 12, 2012 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., is: “Navigating In Uncharted Waters: One Dad’s Practical Suggestions For Supporting Your Loved One In All Phases Of The Eating Disorder Journey.” I also have been asked to participate as a panelist in a Roundtable Series for Dads entitled: “Tips for Supporting Your Child and Practicing Self-Care.” The Roundtable discussion will be facilitated by Douglas Bunnell, PhD and will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
