A Little Less

Be a little less. And a little more.

Imagine what life could look like if we were just . . .

a little less critical and a little more compassionate

a little less judgmental and a little more empathetic

a little less harried and a little more patient

a little less distracted and a little more present

a little less bitter and a little more loving

a little less fearful and a little more adventurous.

a little less wedded to perfection and a little more accepting and understanding of our shared humanity

a little less clingy to the hurts others have inflicted and a little more forgiving

a little less bound up with misplaced shame and guilt and little more open to the gift of grace

a little less preoccupied with the things we don’t have and a little more grateful for all that we do

a little less tethered to the missteps in our past and a little more focused on the next step in the journey

a little less put together and a little more authentic

a little less walled off and a little more vulnerable

I have and it's beautiful. It's also doable
